Whipped Cream Recipe
Making your own whipped cream is about as easy as it gets. In fact, I’ve stopped even buying the store-bought stuff. Homemade just has so much more flavor, and you can even make your own little changes (such as the amount of sugar, adding flavorings, etc.) to personalize it as well. You can also choose to make only what you need, rather than buying a tub of it at the store, only to waste the other half. I’ve actually just started keeping heavy cream around as a staple item in my fridge because it is so versatile. Truly the only difficult thing involved in this recipe is cleaning–and even that is minimal.
⏱️ 5 mins
2 cups
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
Steps
- In stand mixer with whisk attachment, combine cream and sugar. Mix until thickened and fluffy. Refrigerate until ready to use. Keeps for 3-4 days.
I never think about making my own…I really need to start because I am sure it tastes so my h better. Have you ever added a touch of vanilla to it? Wondering how that would taste..Thanks for sharing!
